Volunteers from Hyde Farm Friends, CRNRA and Cobb County staff cut invasive privet and piled the giant branches for Cobb County to dispose of.
Hyde Farm was one of the last working farms in the metro-Atlanta area. The last member of the Hyde family farmed the land until his death in 2004. One hundred thirty five acres of woods, meadows and historic farm buildings are managed jointly by Cobb County PARKS and the National Park Service.
